Golden Coast Rehab is a small clinical team doing focused work: one facility in La Mesa, two clinical lanes — specialty mental health under a County of San Diego contract, and substance use care under DHCS certification — and a staffing model that keeps caseloads small. People who work here get to actually know their clients.
What Is It Like to Work at Golden Coast Rehab?
Working at Golden Coast Rehab means clinical work at a deliberate scale. As of mid-2026 we staff two clinicians for every five clients, treatment is measured (GAD-7 and PHQ-9 at intake and through treatment), and because every program runs out of one building, the medical director, therapists, and admissions team work in the same hallway rather than across a network. Offices run 8am to 8pm, every day.
Who Do We Hire?
We hire licensed and associate-level clinicians (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, and their associate tracks), SUD counselors, group facilitators, and admissions and operations staff. Licensure is verified before hire, and clinical roles work under the supervision structure our county contract and DHCS certification require.
