These Terms & Conditions govern your use of goldencoastrehab.com, operated by Golden Coast Rehab ("Golden Coast," "we," "us"). By using this website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this website is

This site describes the outpatient mental health and addiction treatment programs Golden Coast Rehab provides to adults from our facility at 8809 La Mesa Blvd., Suite 102, La Mesa, California, and it offers general educational information about the conditions we treat. It is a source of information and a way to reach us. It is not a clinical service.

No medical advice, no provider-patient relationship

Nothing on this website is medical, psychiatric, or legal advice, and nothing here is a substitute for evaluation by a qualified professional who knows your situation. Reading this site, submitting a form, or exchanging messages with our admissions team does not create a provider-patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you have completed an assessment and been formally admitted to a program.

Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.

Emergencies

We are not an emergency service, and this website is not monitored for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. The Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available 24 hours a day by call or text at 988. In San Diego County, the Access and Crisis Line is available 24 hours a day at 1-888-724-7240. Do not use a website form to report an emergency.

Using the site

You agree to use this site for lawful purposes only, and not to submit false information, impersonate another person, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems, interfere with its operation, or use automated tools to scrape or bulk-submit to it. We may suspend access for anyone who does.

Information you submit

Information you send through our contact and insurance-verification forms is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Two things are worth stating here directly. First, please do not send detailed clinical information through a website form or unencrypted email — a website form is not a secure channel, and a phone call is better for anything sensitive. Second, submitting a form does not reserve a place in a program, guarantee admission, or confirm coverage; it starts a conversation.

Insurance verification

When we check your benefits, we report what your insurance carrier tells us at that moment. A verification of benefits is an estimate, not a guarantee of payment or coverage. Your actual financial responsibility is determined by your plan, by the care you ultimately receive, and by your carrier's decisions at the time of the claim. Golden Coast Rehab is not responsible for a carrier's error, a change in your plan, or a denial made after services are provided.

Calls and text messages

Our main line, (858) 925-8589, is a recorded and call-tracked number, and calls to and from it may be monitored or recorded. By providing your phone number and checking the consent box on a form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, voicemail, and text message about your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of receiving treatment, and withdrawing it will not affect your care.

No guarantee of outcomes

Recovery outcomes depend on factors no provider controls. Nothing on this site — including descriptions of our programs, testimonials, statistics, or general information about treatment — is a promise, warranty, or guarantee of any particular result. Individual experiences vary.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and the arrangement of them, is owned by Golden Coast Rehab or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Reproducing, republishing, or distributing content from this site for any other purpose requires our prior written permission.
