Dr. Clint Salo

Dr. Clint Salo, DO, is a Psychiatrist at Golden Coast Rehab. A board-certified psychiatrist and Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2013, he provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults in our mental health and co-occurring programs. Since 2012 he has practiced with Progeny Psychiatric Group in Orange County, treating patients across inpatient units, partial hospitalization programs, nursing homes, and assisted living settings, and he previously provided outpatient medication evaluation and management at Harmony Health Care in Henderson, Nevada.

He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas, where he served as chief resident. His training spanned the Veterans Affairs mental health department, University Medical Center's consultation and outpatient services for underserved patients, and Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services, working with adults living with chronic and serious mental illness. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University.

Dr. Salo speaks, reads, and writes Spanish fluently and has taught medical Spanish to fellow clinicians. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Orange County Psychiatric Association.
